Comparing two columns in Excel allows to see if there are some missing or different values between the two columns. let’s take an excel to better understand.
we have the following table and will compare column c1 and c2
Here the difference is a quite clear, we have 4 in column C1 and 5 in C2.
we will use the match function to compare between the two columns
As you can see here, we have a different value where we have #N/A. it means we have value 4 in C1 and value 6 in C2.
the function that we used is match(A2, C:C, 0)
